Finding Rabbi Mirski has been such a wonderful experience. He’s genuinely friendly and incredibly welcoming, which made it so easy to feel comfortable right away. You just feel his warmth and it makes every interaction a positive one. It’s amazing how sharp and insightful hr is, especially being so young. He has a real knack for making deep Jewish teachings feel relevant and engaging for today. His fresh perspective really makes a difference and keeps things interesting.
Honestly, I still can’t believe how lucky I was to find him. He’s not just a rabbi- he’s truly an inspiring and approachable leader who has enriched my Judaism so much. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a rabbi who is both brilliant and truly kind.

When Rabbi Mirski first came to our synagogue, I wasn’t sure what to expect. What struck me almost immediately was how approachable he is—he doesn’t just do services, he takes time to know people. I remember after one particularly hard week, he noticed I seemed off and quietly checked in with me after services. That simple moment of kindness meant a lot. His teaching style has also changed the way I connect with Judaism—he challenges me to think deeply but always makes space for real conversation. I can’t believe how active the shul has become and how happy the mood is. It’s like an entirely different synagogue. Thank you Rabbi!

I love the Tuesday Talmud. Rabbi Mirski has an extraordinary gift for making Torah come alive. He connects ancient wisdom to real life with clarity and depth, and somehow makes every person in the room feel seen. His classes have completely changed how I understand Judaism.

I never expected a rabbi to make such a difference, but since Rabbi Mirski arrived, our synagogue feels alive in a way I’ve never experienced before. New families are joining, and the teens are actually engaged and showing up. People stay after services just to talk and discuss Torah. There’s a genuine curiosity about Judaism that wasn’t here before. Rabbi Mirski has a way of connecting with everyone, from longtime members to newcomers, making me feel like I truly belong. I feel proud to be part of this community, and I can see the synagogue growing because of his presence.

Rabbi Mirski is a very knowledgeable and compassionate Rabbi. I have been going to Temple Beth Shalom since 1956. I have seen many Rabbis and have enjoyed most of them. I have attended Rabbi Mirski’s Hebrew classes and Talmud classes. He is very personable and gracious. He has great knowledge and widsom in the Jewish religion. This last eight months I lost my Wife Judith and Sister Janice. He comforted me and gave me encouragement in my time of sorrow. I enjoy his guitar playing and makes services interesting with his topics. His beautiful Wife Rivkah is a tremendous asset to our Temple with her cooking and greetings. I am glad to have Rabbi Mirski and his Wife at our Temple.

I have had the joy of joining Rabbi Dr. Mirski’s Talmud class, where we explore ancient texts and their unbelievable relevance to modern life. The class is deeply educational and genuinely inspiring. Nothing is off limits with our Rabbi, every question and perspective is welcomed, reflecting the beautiful tradition of “two Jews, three opinions” and turning it into a rich, meaningful learning experience under Rabbi Mirski’s thoughtful guidance. Rabbi Mirski is exceptionally knowledgeable, yet remarkably humble and down to earth. He listens deeply, respects every voice, and cares profoundly about people and the community. His wonderful leadership creates a space of openness, intellectual honesty, and shared growth.

Rabbi Mirski I wanted to thank you for all that you have given to TBS. You are always there, spending your time and giving your energy to us. I know that you will stop and give of your time & attention if I ever need. Also your music is fun and adds great color to our events. You have brought such a burst of new energy to our synagogue.
Rabbi, you have helped me through some difficult situations, and your seemingly endless bag of stories and jokes helps to lighten things when I get too serious. Even as I write this I am getting teary eyed thinking of how good you are to our family and synagogue. Thank you and we appreciate everything you have invested in our synagogue, you are a blessing and a good man!

Rabbi mirski has been a great guide to me and a good friend. His eagerness to teach Torah wisdom is prevalent in everything he does and says. I’ve gotten the opportunity to get to know TBS community greatly in part to his way of embodying the commandment to be a light in this world. He has always been there to answer all my questions and concerns about Jewish law, as well as practical traditions. I will always consider Rabbi Mirski my “Rabino” and look forward to continue learning and following his leadership.

“The time spent discussing, questioning, and gleaning lessons of strength from Rabbi Mirski’s teachings has been nurturing our love of Judaism. Rabbi facilitates discussions, helps students question and discern different facets of religious commentary, and introduces sages like Maimonides. The way Rabbi leadsTorah class he brings multiple insights forward for discussion in an effective and interesting way.”

Rabbi Menachem has been a wonderful influence on both of my sons. His music, energy and excitement for all things Jewish has translated to my son’s enthusiasm for Judaisim. Rabbi Menachem’s level and degree of Hebrew knowledge has been invaluable for our kids.
Rivkah and Rabbi always greet everyone immediately and have consistently made everyone feel at home. As new congregants in 2023 they have always been so welcoming.
During my son’s Bar Mitzvah he was incredibly encouraging and brought a joy to the teachings and made everything prior to the ceremony itself enjoyable and interesting. The Bar Mitzvah ceremony itself was beautiful and inspiring and Rabbi Menachem was absolutely to thank for it being such a valuable experience.
Rabbi Menachem is a pillar in our community and we are incredibly blessed to have him as part of our synagogue.

I have been enjoying going to Rabbi Mirski’s Hebrew and Torah/Talmud classes. He’s a nice person to talk to and can answer questions about any subject regarding Jewish history and ideas. He has taught me so much knowledge I have applied to the Jewish programs I have taught. He’s also great at singing and playing guitar! It’s been a lot of fun playing violin in the Shul Shakers with him! He’s also the reason why I became a member at Temple Beth Shalom.
